It moves *compute* time. H3 is trained on a 768 px short edge capped at\n768x1344, so going below 768 costs real quality for modest speed. Settings that land\nexactly on native canvases (keep `multiple` = 32):\n\n| aspect | megapixels | result |\n|---|---|---|\n| 1:1 | 0.56 | 768 x 768 (default here) |\n| 4:3 | 0.75 | 1024 x 768 |\n| 3:4 | 0.75 | 768 x 1024 |\n| 16:9 | 0.98 | 1344 x 768 |\n| 9:16 | 0.98 | 768 x 1344 |\n\n1344x768 at 5 s is the heavy end - ~37k tokens through the DiT. It fits in 8 GB but\nit is where you would first see an OOM if something else is on the GPU.\n\n**4. `Sigma Shift`.** 12.0 / 3.0 are exactly the model's built-in defaults, so the node\nis a no-op as wired. It is here purely so you have the knob. Lower `shift_video`\nfor tighter, less drifty motion.\n\n**5. Text encoder placement.** `CLIPLoader -> device` can be set to `cpu`. Don't,\nunless you are OOMing during the encode - it pins 15.7 GB in system RAM permanently\nand runs a 32 B model on the CPU. Letting DynamicVRAM stream it is faster here."
